All stragtegic safety components required to run the vehicle under the conditions specified by the vehicle standards, also have TÜV standards and other certifications exceeding or parallel to the standards of the respective countries outside the European Union economic zone.

 

The UN38.3 standard is a key safety standard for Li-Ion batteries. Only BearEbike in Europe produces vehicles of this type that meet this standard. Safety, standards and reliability

Safety is one of the cornerstones of the BearEbike Light project. From the very beginning, it was assumed that this bike had to meet not only the requirements of users, but also strict legal and technical standards. The model meets the European standard EN15194, which means that it can be legally used in European Union countries without the need for registration or insurance - it is a full-fledged pedelec. Additionally, the CE certificate confirms the compliance of the structure with the requirements of safety and electromagnetic compatibility, while the battery meets the international standard UN38.3 - crucial for the transport of lithium-ion batteries in air, sea and land transport. Each component has been selected with reliability in mind: from the BLDC engine, through the suspension and brakes, to the ergonomic details that affect the user's comfort. Even after years of intensive use, the BearEbike Light remains a trustworthy machine. In addition, there is the simplicity of servicing and the availability of spare parts, which makes it an investment for many years. Performance: Engine, battery and power steering technology

BearEbike Light is a device that offers much more than a standard pedelec-class electric bike. Powered by a quiet and failure-free BLDC motor with a power of 250W, it enables dynamic acceleration and smooth pedaling support in five precisely calibrated modes. The support system automatically switches off after exceeding 25 km/h, in accordance with the European standard EN15194, which allows legal movement on public roads without the need to register. The heart of the power supply system is a modern 48V lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 35Ah, providing a real range of up to 140 km with moderate riding. This is as much as 1680Wh of nominal energy, which makes BearEbike Light one of the most efficient models in its class. The battery meets the requirements of the UN38.3 standard and has built-in protection against overcharging, overheating and short circuit. Thanks to the 4A charger, a full charge takes only 8 hours - so it is ideal for overnight energy replenishment. The KT LCD4 display provides clear information on speed, charge level, assist mode and mileage. All this makes the BearEbike Light not only a technically advanced vehicle, but also a tool for everyday use - regardless of whether you are planning a city ride or an off-road expedition.

Construction: Balanced frame, dual battery compartment and extreme durability

The heart of the BearEbike Light model is its extremely well-thought-out steel and aluminum frame, designed to withstand both urban and off-road conditions. The key element is the reinforced battery compartment with an additional internal cover that effectively protects the battery from shocks, mud and moisture. Thanks to the use of a mixture of construction materials - aluminum for lightness and steel for fatigue resistance - the frame maintains excellent stiffness at a relatively low weight. The appropriate center of gravity (lower than in classic e-bikes) makes the bike excellent to drive, even during fast maneuvers or on uneven surfaces. The wheelbase and frame geometry have been adapted to the specifics of the hybrid wheel configuration: 26" at the front and 16" at the rear. This unique solution not only increases stability and control, but also improves driving dynamics in off-road conditions. The use of a strong 20x110 mm hub in the front wheel and a 3.0x16” moto tire at the rear guarantees durability even with a heavy load or dynamic enduro-style riding. As a result, the user receives a vehicle that not only looks solid, but also really withstands extreme conditions of use. The BearEbike Light design is a perfect combination of safety, functionality and modern style that attracts attention and commands respect on the route.

Comfort and handling: suspension, ergonomics and control

Ride comfort is one of the greatest advantages of BearEbike Light, which stands out from other electric bikes with its suspension characteristics. The front double-shock absorber with an impressive 200 mm travel is a solution known from enduro motorcycles. Thanks to the adjustment of the spring tension, the user can precisely adjust its work to the terrain conditions and their riding style. At the back, there is a DNM RCP2 shock absorber with 240 mm travel, a 550 Nm spring and full damping and rebound adjustment, which allows for an extremely smooth ride even on bumpy roads. The suspension system is complemented by wide, ergonomic grips, a 22 mm diameter and 780 mm long handlebar and a gel saddle - all this together translates into outstanding ergonomics and driving stability. The bike behaves confidently both during sharp braking (hydraulic 2-piston brakes with 180 mm discs), as well as during turns or sudden changes of direction. Thanks to the use of a moto tire at the back and a bicycle enduro tire at the front, the user receives an optimal combination of grip and maneuverability. An additional advantage is the adjustable stand, allowing safe parking in all conditions. BearEbike Light was created with comfort in mind not only on the road, but also during everyday use - regardless of whether you are in the city, on a dirt road or on a mountain trail.

Dear All, we are proud to announce that as of 23/09/2021, all BearEbike vehicles are VIN numbered. Our company is the first and ONLY electric vehicle manufacturer from Poland, fully complying with all ISO 3780 standards: 2009, ISO 3779: 2009 and ISO 3779: 2009, it passed the positive accreditation for assigning VIN numbers to its vehicles, in accordance with the standards of the Polish Committee for Standardization was registered in the SAE International system under the initial code SX0, for L-category vehicles.

At present, all newly manufactured vehicles are VIN numbered, as the only vehicles of this type in Poland, which makes them currently the safest constructions on the market. We would also like to inform you that all of our vehicles can now be successfully insured with Third Party Liability because all BearEbike vehicles have received the status of motor vehicles.
